What makes a disc an “ugly”

Discs that fail to meet Hyperflite’s quality assurance standards are classed as misprints, or “uglies,” and are unsuitable for retail sale. A disc may have imperfect hot-stamped logos, internal flaws, color variations, minor surface blemishes, slight warping, or discoloration. These Z-Disc Competition Standard uglies are sold in bulk packs of 50 or 100 while supplies last.

Shipping and order limits

  • Flat shipping fee for Continental U.S. addresses: $15.49 for a 50-disc pack, $25 for a 100-disc pack.
  • All other addresses are charged the actual shipping amount.
  • This bulk misprint item is excluded from all free-shipping promotions (including Free Shipping on U.S. orders over $100). It does not count toward the free-shipping threshold and always ships with the flat-rate fee above. Other eligible items in your cart may still qualify.
  • Misprints are limited to one order (100 discs maximum) per address, per month.
  • Due to limited availability, you can’t choose colors, and your order might be all the same color.

  • Every misprint is different. Flaws vary from disc to disc, and you can’t pick which ones you get.

How big is each disc?

Each disc is shown next to a standard business card (3.5″ × 2″) so you can see its true size. Dog sizes are height at the shoulder. Not sure? Our Disc Finder shows how to measure and lists breeds for each size.

For U.S. Orders (excluding Hawaii and Alaska), we use a variable shipping pricing structure based upon your order total (except for orders of misprints which are charged the actual shipping cost).

U.S. Shipping Fees

Orders totaling up to $25 = $5.95
Ordering totaling from $25.01-$50 = $7.95
Orders totaling from $50.01-$99.99 = $9.95
Orders totaling $100+ = $12.95

International Shipping Fees

International orders (including Hawaii and Alaska) are charged shipping at our cost and payments must be by credit card. In addition, international customers are responsible for the payment of any duties and taxes. We will contact international customers, with a total quote including shipping, for approval before processing their credit card.
