K-10 Midnight Sun discs have Hyperflite’s low-profile grip surface on the top and underside for secure gripping in all conditions, plus X-Flash™ Anti-Glare Technology. About the glow

Glow discs use phosphors embedded in the plastic. The disc starts milky white and glows green once charged with a light source, and how long it glows depends on how long it was charged. A UV (blacklight) flashlight gives the brightest glow and the fastest charge. Approximate charge times for the same brightness:

  • 3–4 minutes of ultraviolet (black) light
  • 7–8 minutes of direct sunlight
  • 21–23 minutes of fluorescent light
  • 24–26 minutes of incandescent light

The glow weakens gradually with long exposure to intense light or UV.

Good to know

  • Midnight Sun discs are not puncture-resistant. If your dog’s teeth wear one out quickly, the K-10 Jawz disc is the tougher choice.
  • Inspect discs regularly and discard any that are damaged.
