Due to the ugly weather forecast for Tuesday, September 18, and the glowing forecast for the remainder of World's Week, we are exercising the weather option and shifting the Tuesday DiscDogathon and Xtreme Distance Last Chance Qualifiers to Wednesday, September 19, and the DiscDogathon and Xtreme Distance World Championships to Thursday, September 20. The McKamey welcome reception will still be held on Thursday evening and you won't want to miss it!
We are sorry for the last minute changes but a weather forecast for a 100% chance of heavy rain makes exercising the option a no-brainer. With the schedule switch, we are confident that we will have virtually perfect weather for each competition day including blue skies and cool temps.
Be sure to sign up for the Skyhoundz Twitter Feed. We're trying to arrange something fun for Tuesday so if you're going to be in Chattanooga, we will do our best to keep you entertained. But, we can't get the word out unless we can reach you via our Facebook Page and/or Twitter.

(To compete in the World Championship, you must have previously qualified at a 2012 Hyperflite Skyhoundz Qualifier)
Set-up for the Saturday competition day will take place beginning at 7 am for all competitors competing in the Open and Youth Divisions. Tents will first be set up on the right field warning track until we have worked our way back along the warning track to the parking area. We ask that you minimize the amount of equipment you include in your tent to aid in breaking down at the end of each competition day. Obviously, if you can share a tent with someone else, that would be most helpful.
The size of the warning track is 19' in width and the maximum tent size that will be permitted will be 10' x 10'. The tent must be flush with the grass, but not sitting on it. You will need to leave space behind your tent for a walkway. If you have an electric generator, you may run the cord from the back of your tent to the generator which can be placed next to outfield wall. For safety reasons, if you have a generator, please bring wide blue painter's tape (not duct tape) and tape your cord down to the warning track. No gas will be permitted on the field or warning track. So, please fill your generators in the parking area and take them to the parking area to be refueled if necessary.
Since you cannot drive tent stakes into the warning track, you will need to bring weights to prevent your tent from blowing. Special tent weights are available at most sporting good/camping stores. You can find an example of such a product here.
On the positive side, since the tents will be on the warning track and not the turf, you will be permitted to use matts or carpets for flooring in your tents.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to address these last-minute developments.

General Information
If you are flying with your dog, you will need to provide your airline with a canine health certificate at check-in. Be sure to bring an airline-approved kennel for your canine. If you have questions or concerns about air travel, feel free to call us and we will try to assist in any way we can.
For those of you who have chosen to drive, there is plenty of parking available at Camp Jordan and at the hotel. However, parking downtown next to AT&T Field will not be permitted. We recommend that you drop your materials off in the turn-around out front of the stadium then park in the parking area below the stadium.
If you would like to bring a pop-up type tent, please feel free to do so. In fact, if you have an extra, please bring it for those competitors who may be traveling without one. You may use tent stakes at Camp Jordan and at AT&T Field. There will not be overnight security at Camp Jordan or AT&T Field (although the stadium complex will be locked), though competitors may choose to leave their tents set up overnight. If you choose to do so, please understand that you assume the risk of damage or theft to property that you leave out.

Please check with the Chief Judge if you have questions about disc use. All other rules will be the same as all Skyhoundz Qualifiers.
Although only one team can win a World Championship in the applicable Divisions, you are all winners in the eyes of your canines. So, when you're out on the field competing, don't forget to have fun with your best friend. Hyperflite will not tolerate displays of unsportsmanlike conduct at the various Hyperflite Skyhoundz Qualifiers and World Championships. We urge you to familiarize yourself with our rules regarding unsportsmanlike behavior and understand that we will have a zero tolerance policy for unseemly displays of poor sportsmanship at this family-friendly event. Treat the judges with respect and interact with them as you would want others to interact with you. Finally, please review the section on Sportsmanship in the Competition Section of Disc Dogs! The Complete Guide.
The Hyperflite Skyhoundz World Canine Disc Championship Series is family entertainment at its finest. Families with young children attend many Skyhoundz events as competitors and spectators. A Youth Division is now part of the Skyhoundz Series. Accordingly, any musical selection, choreography, or costumes chosen by a competitor, to be used in conjunction with a Skyhoundz Freestyle routine, should be free of offensive, suggestive, or inappropriate language or themes. If you wouldn't expect to see or hear it at Disney World, you shouldn't include it in your routine at a Skyhoundz event. Please note that this rule also applies to international competitors competing with music that is in a language other than that of the Skyhoundz host country.
Competitors are responsible for previewing their music to prevent any inappropriate or profane language (even the milder words) from being played. International competitors competing at the Skyhoundz World Championship, for whom English is not a first language, should have their English-language musical selection previewed by a trusted English-speaking individual to ensure adherence to the requirements of this rule. Please do not assume that song tracks not marked as explicit, if purchased from an online music source, will be acceptable. Listen to your selection carefully. When in doubt, leave it out!
Failure to adhere to the Mickey rule, in the sole discretion of Skyhoundz, will result in administrative actions up to and including immediate disqualification, suspension from future competitions, and/or vacation of any award or qualification slot earned at an event where the competitor's conduct violates the spirit of this rule.
Competitors are encouraged to sign up for Skyhoundz twitter updates (weather, schedule, etc.). Important competition information may need to be disseminated rapidly and this is the best available method at present. Sign up at the address shown below:
